HoustonPBS to Honor Local Award-Winning Young Writers and Illustrators
This Saturday, May 7 at 9:00 a.m. HoustonPBS is hosting an awards ceremony at the Children’s Museum of Houston for the winners of the PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest. For the past seventeen years the station has hosted this annual contest which encourages creativity and a love of reading by offering children, K-3rd grade, an opportunity to submit a story they’ve written and illustrated. HoustonPBS received over 500 entries for this year’s competition.
