Member Tours at the Melcher Center for Public Broadcasting
As a valued member of HoustonPBS and/or Houston Public Radio, we would like to invite you to look behind-the-scenes at the home of KUHF News 88.7, Classical 91.7 and HoustonPBS: the LeRoy and Lucile Melcher Center for Public Broadcasting. Spend and enjoyable Saturday exploring the ins and outs of radio and TV - from the cameras to the recording studios to the green room, experience the excitement of broadcasting first hand!
We offer two types of tours:
- Adult or Member tours for people twelve years of age and above - these are in-depth tours which cover both our television and radio facilities. These can be offered the first Saturday of each month at 3:00 pm.
- Children's tours - age seven and above preferred. To be scheduled on weekends and (for school groups) Monday mornings at 9:00 a.m.
