MARY LOU'S FLIP FLOP SHOP, featuring Olympic champion Mary Lou Retton, is jam-packed with high energy fun that focuses on physical fitness; health, nutrition; hygiene, confidence-building and positive thinking, all in a vibrant setting with an upside/down attitude! Mary Lou uses her exuberant communication skills, music and dance, to introduce her innovative concept of "Creative Movement." All aspects of the show are designed to motivate kids to believe in themselves and to get off the couch and join in the fun. The show is set in a wacky Flip Flop Shop with a small cast of "real" children interacting with five characters, each designed to deliver a specific set of messages: Jumpy, Mary Lou's ever curious and energetic sidekick; Miss Warble, the Shop's singing custodian; Mr. Bump, the clumsy yet charming deliveryman; Professor Blinky, the wise owl female professor; and L.Z.
