Emma, age 5 of TX wrote: I wanted to collect money for the little children who didn't have much to eat. I made a collection jar and asked people for donations. Then I took the money to KidCare where they give meals to hungry children. My mommy and daddy helped me. Wafa, age 10 of TX wrote: I started a penny drive in my school. Me and my partner Bela got a lot of beanie babies at the mall. I feel great. We turned them in at the children's hospital. It was great and I collected a lot of great items. I go to a downtown church and they have a great outreach program which will help give the items to the people who need them. For a volenteer project we help Habitat For Humanity. It is a program that helps homeless peole by building houses. Me and my freinds made lunches for the workers and took them to the site.
