How to Enroll your school.

($115 fee for enrollment/materials)

1. Go to www.spellingbee.com  , Click "Enroll Now" in the upper-right-hand corner.
2. Enter the zip code of your school.
3. Select your school.
4. Click the "Submit" button at bottom of page.
5. Complete the form and payment.
6. Through your Scripps National Spelling Bee online account you will have access to the SNSB  materials and tools. Access to your SNSB account is open after payment is received.
7. Enroll by October 15 to avoid a late fee. 

How to 'Batch Enroll" a group of schools.

1. It is possible to enroll multiple schools in one transaction.
2. Go to www.spellingbee.com  , Click "Enroll Now" in the upper-right-hand corner.
3. Click the words, "Click here", in the sentence, "Click here to enroll multiple schools from multiple zip codes."
4. Enter the zip code(s) of the schools that you want to enroll and click the Submit School Zip Codes button.
5. Place check marks in the boxes to the left of the schools you want to enroll and click the Submit School(s) button.
6. Follow the on screen prompts to enter the name and email address of the key spelling bee contact for each school.
7. During Step 5 you will be able to select your payment option: credit card or check.
   (If the pay-by-check option is selected, the system will generate a custom invoice listing the schools and will email the invoice to the person who initiated the enrollment on behalf of the schools. Schools will gain access after payment is received.)

Fall Semester
1. Enroll your school.
2. Download and review all SNSB materials.
3. Plan your school spelling bee.
4. Distribute Study Words to students.
5. Students prepare for school spelling bee.

Before Winter Break
1. Conduct your School Spelling Bee and report your school champion through your SNSB account.
2. Give your school champion the 'Spell-It' guide to prepare for the Regional/District Bee.

January 18, 2013 - Last day to report your school champion through your SNSB account.

February 2013 - Regional/School District Bees  (By January you will receive details about sending your school champion to the Regional/School District Bee.)

March 23, 2013  - HoustonPBS Spelling Bee (The top spellers from the Regional/School District Bees will compete in the HoustonPBS Spelling Bee which will be televised in the Houston area.)

June 2013 - Scripps National Spelling Bee (The top two spellers of the HoustonPBS Spelling Bee will compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.)

Scripps National Spelling Bee materials and tools are available through your SNSB online account. Your account is fully activated when payment is received.
