David specializes in huge works of art such
as the sculpture of Sam Houston on I-45. Recently
he has been working on erecting a 60-foot-tall statue
of Stephen F. Austin in Brazoria County. In this

posing in front of the Contemporary Arts Museum.

Floyd’s work can be found in many museums
collections, including the Philadelphia Museum of
Art, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the Art Museum
of South Texas in Corpus Christi and at The University
of Houston-Downtown where Floyd has been a professor
of art for the last 30 years.
