Kate Walsh began her career acting in Chicago before entering the New York City theatre scene of the late 80’s. Television soon beckoned and the audience began to take notice when she joined the cast of The Drew Carey Show. But it has been as Dr. Addison Montgomery on both “Grey’s Anatomy” & “Private Practice” that she has truly captured the nation’s attention. Outside of acting, she lives just as busy a life – she has launched her own fragrance called “Boyfriend”, is a spokesperson for the Narcolepsy Network, on the board of Planned Parenthood, and is working with Oceana.
