In 1973, Sheryl Lee Ralph was crowned “Miss Black Teen-Age New York.” At 19, she was named one of the top 10 college women in America by Glamour magazine. But, it was as Deena Jones in the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls that she finally arrived! Outside of show biz, Sheryl Lee is married to Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes, and works tirelessly in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
