Jill Carroll is a scholar, writer and speaker who specializes in world religions, religion and world politics, religion in public life, and applied life philosophy.
“I think I know that I’m living smart when I can walk into a room and I’m the only Anglo person—maybe I’m the only woman—maybe I’m the only person that comes from my background—and I’m not freaked out. I’m not scared. If I’m scared, if I’m nervous, if I feel a disempowering, then I know I’m not living big enough and I’m not living smart, and so that’s a big measure for me. “ - Jill Carroll
On Living Smart she’ll discuss the history of religious tolerance and why it is necessary for a civilized society.
