Rima Fuego and the Children

Rima, Fuego and the Children is a series of interstitials directed at pre-school and early elementary age children and their caregivers.  Stories are first paraphrased in Spanish by Fuego (a Dalmatian) then read in English by Rima with accompanying pictures and music.  Both characters are bilingual.

Educational goals include encouragement in learning a second language, helping children to learn about & appreciate cultural differences, and preparing them for life in a culturally diverse society.

Rima, Fuego and the Children airs:
Monday – Friday at 5:57am and 2:27pm on 8.1.
Saturday mornings at 5:57am on 8.2.
Sunday mornings  at 4:57am on 8.1.
