Produced by HoustonPBS, Red, White and Blue is a weekly political affairs program covering local, state and national politics. David A. Jones and Gary Polland host the show with moderator Linda Lorelle. The program airs locally on Channel 8 Fridays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 12:30 pm and is taped at the Melcher Center for Public Broadcasting on the University of Houston Main Campus. The program receives input from the Red, White and Blue Advisory Board.

"Flagrant Conduct – The Story of Lawrence v. Texas"

Larson Professor of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law at the University of Minnesota Law School his new book "Flagrant Conduct – The Story of Lawrence v. Texas". This monumental case eventually resulted in the U.S. Supreme Court decriminalizing gay conduct and has paved the way for the legalization of gay marriage in many states. What is most interesting to Texans is we had a front row seat. The case originated in Houston, went through the Harris County courts and involved local legal and political players.
