Larson Professor of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Law at the University of Minnesota Law School his new book "Flagrant Conduct – The Story of Lawrence v. Texas". This monumental case eventually resulted in the U.S. Supreme Court decriminalizing gay conduct and has paved the way for the legalization of gay marriage in many states. What is most interesting to Texans is we had a front row seat. The case originated in Houston, went through the Harris County courts and involved local legal and political players.
