The members of the Johnny Mitchell Boys and Girls Club of Houston, Texas created a PowerPoint which examines the histories of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, the Baptist Church on Avenue L, the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Central High School, the first black Texan Estevanico, the African American civic celebration "Juneteenth," and Norris Wright Cuney, the first Black customs officer.  See Powerpoint Presentation
